Changes for a brillant future

Published on August 25, 2021

For more than four years, when it was created, our design office was located in Loos-en-Gohelle, a small town near Lens. We were near the Lens slag heaps, registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Within an eco-business incubator, we shared our premises with several companies focused on the environment. In an ideal setting, we enjoyed spending these four years in this nursery. However, with the distance from Lille and the growth of the company, we therefore preferred to move closer to the Lille metropolis with larger offices.

Indeed, Lille has a fairly large intermodal network. We find there the train, the bus, the metro, the tram and the bicycle as means of transport. This array of transport networks has increased the attractiveness of the company for employees. Knowing that most live in Lille or around Lille, the choice of moving to the town of Lambersart was a strategic choice. Public transport, walking and cycling are preferred to the detriment of the car, in order to reduce the environmental impact. The offices are organized in an open space format to improve interaction between colleagues, as well as team cohesion, while having a more pleasant working environment.

Since April 2021, we have had a branch in Bordeaux, in a co-working space where several companies are also present. This subsidiary allows some of our employees to work as close as possible to their homes. Each week we set up a videoconference team meeting to discuss each other's different projects.

WeLOOP aims to promote environmental impact reduction at all levels and areas!
