WeLOOP, an expertise and innovation office founded in 2017 in Hauts-de-France, specialises in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).

Composed of 12 experts, our team assesses and optimises the environmental, social, and economic performance of products, services, and processes, using a life cycle approach. We support both public and private sector stakeholders in projects related to circular economy, innovation, eco-design, and life cycle management, from strategic definition to operational implementation.

Description of the job offer

Start: Desired start as soon as possible

Duration: Permanent contract

Education level: PhD in environmental engineering, science or similar discipline or master degree

Location: Lambersart, Lille, France

Salary: To negotiate (depending on the experience and the applicant knowledge)

Proposed tasks

---

• You will manage IT projects related to environmental assessments (planning, coordination, deliverables tracking, etc.)
• You will draft technical specifications for LCA tools
• You will frame business needs between LCA team and web developpers team
• You will conduct LCAs and ecodesign of various products/processes and services, including new and innovative technologies in different sectors (batteries, electric and electronics, etc.).
• You will draft technical reports (simplified and detailed) in English and/or French
• You will draft technical and commercial offers in English and/or French (European projects, H2020, Interreg, etc.).
• You will have other administrative responsibilities

Required skills

---

• Knowledge in Life Cycle Assessment and Ecodesign (knowledge in LCC and S-LCA is a plus),
• Modelling experience with one LCA software (SimaPro, Gabi, etc.),
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Proficiency in written and spoken French
• User knowledge of the Office Pack, with advanced knowledge of Excel,
• Solid knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, V-Model, …)
• Knowledge of software architectures (API, databases, etc.)
• Show up as team collaborator with spirit of initiative: be kind and supportive of colleagues, think and conduct with autonomy, while having the courage to ask for support.
