WeLOOP is hiring

Composed of 12 experts, our team assesses and optimises the environmental, social, and economic performance of products, services, and processes, using a life cycle approach. We support both public and private sector stakeholders in projects related to circular economy, innovation, eco-design, and life cycle management, from strategic definition to operational implementation.

Internship

Start: Desired start as soon as possible

Duration: 6-month internship

Gratification : 1000€ brut

Education: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in science or engineering with a specialisation in the environment

Proposed tasks

Within the electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) and battery departments, you will be required to:

  • Participate in a national project to support an innovative and circular digital economy
  • Carrying out bibliographical research
  • Building Life Cycle Inventories (LCIs) for the EEE sector
  • Carrying out LCAs of electronics, energy storage systems, and their recycling
  • Analysis and interpretation of LCA results
  • Writing LCA and project reports
  • Participating in and leading meetings with project partners
  • Developing the EEE activities within WeLOOP (drafting quotations, publications…)

Required skills

  • Proficiency in both English and French
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills
  • Team spirit, strong interpersonal skills, autonomy, attention to detail, and a proactive approach
  • Basic knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and eco-design
  • An interest in environmental issues and technical knowledge in the EEE sector would be an advantage
