Are you a researcher, professional or government official looking to better understand the risks associated with critical raw materials? Upon completing the course, you will be able to identify supply risks and master the related challenges and mitigation options. The programme, developed as part of the International Round Table on Materials Criticality project, combines lectures, practical exercises and group work.

  • Dates : Monday 7 December to Thursday 10 December 2026
  • Fees : €700 ex. VAT (standard) | €560 ex. VAT (PhD students & EuroGeol) + €250 optional certification examination. All preparatory and instructional materials are included in the course fee.
  • Virtual format : Zoom
  • Language: English
  • Schedule Every day from 14:00 to 17:15 (CET / UTC+1)
  • Trainers : Luis Tercero (Fraunhofer), Dieuwertje Schrijvers (WeLOOP) and Alessandra Hool (ESM Foundation)
  • Optional certification exam: 1-hour online exam on 16 December 2026. Upon successful completion, participants will receive the « Raw Materials Risk Manager » certification (ISO/IEC 17024).
