Are you a researcher, professional or government official looking to better understand the risks associated with critical raw materials? Upon completing the course, you will be able to identify supply risks and master the related challenges and mitigation options. The programme, developed as part of the International Round Table on Materials Criticality project, combines lectures, practical exercises and group work.

  • Dates: Monday 29 June to Thursday 2 July 2026
  • Fees: €700 ex. VAT (standard) | €560 ex. VAT (PhD students & EuroGeol) + €250 optional certification examination. All preparatory and instructional materials are included in the course fee.
  • Virtual format : Zoom
  • Language : English
  • Schedule Each day from 9:30 to 12:15 (CET)
  • Trainers : Luis Tercero (Fraunhofer), Dieuwertje Schrijvers (WeLOOP) and Alessandra Hool (ESM Foundation)
  • Optional certification examination : 1 hour online on 7 July 2026. Upon successful completion, award of the certification " Raw Materials Risk Manager » (ISO/IEC 17024)

WeLOOP, the ESM Foundation and Fraunhofer reserve the right to cancel the training if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
In such cases, registered participants will be notified as soon as possible and fully refunded.
