How do we proceed with the verification of your PEP ?

Selection of an approved verifier
The verification must be performed by an independent expert accredited under the PEP Ecopassport® program.

Preparation of the file
A complete dossier must be prepared, including the PEP, the LCA report, calculation files, the database, and the applicable rules (PCR/PSR).

Compliance review
The verifier ensures that the PEP complies with PCR/PSR requirements, that the functional unit and life cycle scope are correctly defined, that scenarios and assumptions are consistent, and that data quality and traceability are ensured.

Review phase: the verifier issues comments, and the client implements the necessary corrections along with the corresponding justifications.

Assessment of calculations
The verifier checks the consistency of results, the presence of mandatory indicators, compliance with units and rounding rules, as well as the detection of potential modelling errors.

Review of the PEP document
The verifier ensures that all mandatory content is included, that tables and formatting comply with requirements, and that the text is consistent with the data.

Publication
Once validated, the PEP is registered in the PEP EcoPassport® program database or in any other applicable PEP registry. It is then officially recognized and accessible to clients and partners, with a maximum validity of 5 years, unless significant product modifications require an update.
