This webinar is organised by the partners of the European project Bio4HUMAN, who aim to better understand and apply the new LCA methodologies developed for the bio-based sector. The Bio4HUMAN project focuses on addressing the challenges of solid waste management (SWM) in humanitarian contexts. The main objective of Bio4HUMAN is to provide humanitarian operators and bio-based sector stakeholders with a list of bio-based solutions for solid waste management that could be applicable in various humanitarian contexts. One of our tasks is to conduct the LCA of innovative bio-based solutions. We aim to integrate some of the new methodologies developed for the sector by other European projects. The event will focus on presenting various methodologies and tools developed by other European projects for the bio-based sector: Calimero, Aligned, and LCA4BIO.
