WeLOOP, an expertise and innovation office founded in 2017 in Hauts-de-France, specialises in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).
Composed of 12 experts, our team assesses and optimises the environmental, social, and economic performance of products, services, and processes, using a life cycle approach. We support both public and private sector stakeholders in projects related to circular economy, innovation, eco-design, and life cycle management, from strategic definition to operational implementation.

Education: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in science or engineering with a specialisation in the environment

Proposed tasks
Within the buildings and construction products team, you will be responsible for:
- Carry out Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and ecodesign studies for a range of products, processes and services, including new and innovative technologies in the construction sector
- Manage private- and public-sector projects;
- Contribute to the development of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) tools (configurators) designed to facilitate the environmental assessment of products and product families;
- Prepare technical reports (both summary and detailed reports) in English and/or French;
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals in English and/or French for European projects (including Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe and Interreg). In addition, you will undertake a range of administrative responsibilities.
Required skills
- Basic knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA); knowledge of Life Cycle Costing (LCC) and Social Life Cycle Assessment (S-LCA) would be an advantage.
- Experience in using Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) software (e.g. SimaPro, GaBi, openLCA).
- Proficiency in both English and French
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Team spirit, strong interpersonal skills, autonomy, attention to detail, and a proactive approach
- Understanding of environmental issues
