BATTERS Project Workshops Phase 2

Context

BATTERS phase 2 is a collaborative project led by WeLOOP and Ailoop, with co-funding from the Hauts-de-France Region and the European Union. This second phase aims to continue the structuring of the battery industry in Hauts-de-France, in response to environmental and regulatory challenges.

This objective will be achieved through the construction of a collaborative platform for all stakeholders and all types of batteries (large and small mobility, stationary, industrial, etc.).

The kick-off meeting was held on 24 June 2025 and brought together around fifty participants from across the battery value chain: design offices, engineering companies, battery manufacturers, storage and recycling companies, as well as local authorities, public institutions, competitiveness clusters, technical centres, academic and research establishments.

WeLOOP and Ailoop have progressed in building the platform, and stakeholders are now invited to participate in the workshops to share their ideas and concerns. To this end, three workshops on various themes will be held from February to July 2026.
